The world was shocked to learn that the next Iron Man will be an African-American woman and Tony Stark himself has yet to comment. When asked how he sees his successor, Robert Downey Jr. said she would be a "Bad A** Mother F**ker."
Marvel Comics Evolution
Marvel Comics took a backseat to Marvel Cinematic Universe's overwhelming success in the past few years. However, more fans turned to the comic versions of the movies to keep with the stories and characters.
In turn, this prompted Marvel Comics to continue with their storylines, creating shocking plots and twists in the comic books that may later on reflect on the movies.
Over the years, chief changes in Marvel Comics were seen following a major crossover event, the Civil War II. Including in these major changes was the announcement of Miles Morales as the next Spider-Man and Jane Foster taking over the mantle of Thor and his hammer, Mirror UK noted.
Marvel Comics recently revealed that an African-American woman will take over as Tony Stark retires from his iron suits.

Riri Williams, a 15-year-old genius has been revealed to take over the iron suit from Tony Stark in the Marvel Comics. This was after Robert Downey Jr. discovered that she successfully engineered Iron Man's armoured suit.
Time has favored the transition, stating that the story of young Riri Williams is brilliant, to say the least. This biggest twist in Marvel Comics was deemed as the most modern version of a superhero story, the author said.
However, many were not so happy about the news especially those fans who don't want to see Robert Downey Jr. take off the Iron suit.
With the announcement of Riri Williams as the next Iron Man in Marvel Comics, many were skeptical that Robert Downey Jr. will still appear in "Iron Man" 4.
