The planned “Sons of Anarchy” spin-off has yet to get some credible updates with the working relationship of Charlie Hunnam and Kurt Sutter in question. Just the same, the latest revelation involving Brad Pitt should be the most sensible one thus far.
Ironically, it was Charlie Hunnam who gave an update on Brad Pitt and his rumored role for “Sons of Anarchy” season 8. In an interview with Men’s Journal, the 36-year-old actor was upbeat and bared how Sutter was trying to work things out with the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” actor.
Pitt will be fitted into season 8 of “Sons of Anarchy” as “Jax Teller’s” dad, “John Teller”. Pitt became an obvious choice seeing close similarities between him and Hunnam.
Filming for “Sons of Anarchy” is expected to commence in 2017. The script is currently being written while the cast is being built as we speak. But does that include Hunnam returning?
Being a spin-off, seeing Hunnam return makes sense. But as mention in a previous post, take note that his working relationship with Sutter leaves a lot to be desired. Though the two didn’t really get it on physically, Hunnam admits that it came close to such.
In that same post, Hunnam was fine with the idea of seeing his character (“Jax Teller”) being killed off.
“At the end of it we both realized that it would have been more tragic to let him live after what he had gone through,” said Hunnam.
What’s keeping Charlie Hunnam busy these days?
While his return to “Sons of Anarchy” is undetermined for now, Hunnam bares what is keeping him busy these days. Apparently the actor is busy promoting Calvin Klein’s new fragrance line per reports from GQ.
Technically, Brad Pitt is not officially on board. It may all depend on the strings that Sutter is able to pull out. As for Hunnam, his return is likewise up in the air for now.
