‘Mr. Robot Season 2.0’ Latest News, Updates & Air Date: Where Is Tyrell Wellick? Spoilers, Predictions & Theories

For those who caught the season 1 finale of “Mr. Robot” Tyrell Wellick did a disappearing act that left viewers hanging. But a recently released 7-minute clip may have the answer on his fate heading into season 2.0.

USA released a lengthy clip which is seen as another piece of the Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallstrom) puzzle. After the “Five/Nine” hack, his fate was up in the air until the recent clip which popped via its Facebook Page may have given “Mr. Robot” viewers a glimpse of things to come.

The clip shows a man wearing the f-society mask that recaps the events of “Mr. Robot”. As Polygon points out at the 4:17 mark , the man in the mask is actually Tyrell Wellick who was broadcasting from the f-society headquarters.

Wellick was not the only one in the film. Towards the end of the video, Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek) is seen sitting in front of his computer and doing his usual coding. Curiously, the clip ends with Elliot reaching into a popcorn machine.

For those who can recall, a gun was stashed somewhere in there. The problem is what will happen next? Will Elliot get hold of it or does it have anything to do with Tyrell?

Season 2 of “Mr. Robot” will debut next week (July 13) and will pick off from the successful hack of Evil Corp. While it looks like Elliot and the f-society succeeded in changing the world, confirmation of their feat is up for debate.

At this point, anything can happen so it is best to catch the series premiere on Wednesday via USA. Does the clip hint at the events to come?

Elliot continues to run from the FBI after hacking into E-Corp but it doesn’t look like he will be slowing down next season. Season 2 will be reportedly much darker with Elliot dealing into even more dangerous territory. Check out the clip below.
