Mass Effect : Paragon Lost Release Date And New Trailer (Watch Here)

The animated film"Mass Effect: Paragon Lost" will release on Dec. 28, and features the Freddie Prince Jr. returning to his role as James Vega. "Mass Effect: "Paragon Lost" is a prequel to Mass Effect 3 and follows 'Alliance Marine James Vega' while he battled the Collectors on a distant colony.The rest of the cast has been announced by Funimation and can be seen below the story.

Vega briefly mentioned this mission with the Collectors while on the Normandy in Mass Effect 3, the animated film will tell the full story. Paragon Lost is based on a script by Henry Gilroywho has written scripts Cartoon Network's "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "Batman: The Animated Series."

Here's the film's official plot synopsis:

"Mass Effect: Paragon Lost is the prequel to the highly-anticipated Mass Effect 3 and follows the early career of Alliance Marine, James Vega. Vega leads an elite Special Forces squad into battle against a mysterious alien threat known as The Collectors. Stationed at a colony in a remote star system, Vega and his soldiers must protect the civilians from a ruthless invasion determined to capture the population for unknown purposes. Learn more about the Mass Effect universe with an unprecedented glimpse into the haunted past of Mass Effect's newest hero!"

James Vegas' animated adventure was originally set to release on Nov. 13, but has been delayed and will now release on DVD and Blu-ray on Dec. 28. Check out the cast of voice actors below and see the films new trailer.
