NBC has confirmed "Grimm" for another run, and fans can expect a lot of exciting things in the new season.
In a brief synopsis, "Grimm" Season 6 will see Nick protecting Portland from the Black Claw. There may also be strain in his relationship with Captain Sean Renard as the latter attempts to rise up the ranks; however, there's also one part of the story fans want to blossom in "Grimm" Season 6, and that is Nick and Adalind's relationship.
Fans enjoyed watching the chemistry Nick and Adalind shared in "Grimm" Season 5, and there are hopes that the couple's romance would continue in Season 6 and would reunite with their child.
Even actress Claire Coffee, who plays Adalind in the series, wants her character and David Giuntoli's Nick to end up together.
"I think what Adalind would like is to be back with Nick, be happy, and be able to establish a family with him. I think Adalind firmly believes that Nick and company are on the right side, and she wants to be, too," Parade quoted Coffee as saying. She also added that her character never wanted to work with Black Claw or go back with her evil roots. So, now she's just trying to find a way to get back with Nick's side.
However, Giuntoli has a different point of view. He opined that Adalind may concentrate on protecting her children in "Grimm" Season 6, instead of focusing her attention on Nick.
Furthermore, Nick and Adalind getting back together in "Grimm" Season 6 would not be a walk in the park. They would have a lot of obstacles to go through, including the Black Claw and the wedding ring Bonaparte had Adalind wear, which is presumed to be hexed. Of course, there's Eve, who's also developing feelings for Nick.
Meanwhile, "Grimm" Season 6 has been trimmed down to 13 episodes, which is nine episodes shorter than the usual 22-episode run. The move to cut down the supernatural drama is part of NBC's plan to make its fall schedule more flexible.
"Grimm" Season 6 release date is slated on Oct. 28.
