Ubisoft announced today that Trials Evolution is getting some DLC. Check the trailer below!
Obviously it's a bit minimalist, so here's what the new DLC is bringing to the table. "Origin of Pain" will add 36 brand new tracks, which will undoubtedly bring many to the verge of pulling their hair out. They expand on Trials Evolution's more, "non-traditional" settings, like a volcano, haunted circus, and lost temples. It also brings in 10 new multiplayer tracks as well, just so you can show off your skill to your buddies online.
The DLC will also add new editor objects, allowing further track customization, just in case you're nihilistic enough to push the challenge factor up a tad, including teleportation. AND, there will be a shiny new BMX for you to ride around in.
When Trials HD first came out, it was praised for being extremely addictive, despite its almost insane challenge. Trials Evolution upped the ante by taking players out of the bland warehouse, and putting them on a variety of colorful, sometimes insane settings, including a battlefield, and an air fortress. It also let players adjust the difficulty as they played.
Gamers can grab "Origin of Pain" off of XBLA this fall for 400 Microsoft Points. Expect plenty more reactions like the one below.
