“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” will be offering yet another big twist with word of a ‘Game of the Year’ edition coming out soon. Such was confirmed no less by game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz.
In an interview with Game Spot, Tomaszkiewicz addressed queries surrounding the possible release of a Game of the Year edition for “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”. He confirmed that they are indeed currently working on one though more details on that will follow in the future.
“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” revelation should be good news to gamers who have so far enjoyed the adventures of Geralt. To date, there have been two expansions released since the game came out in 2015.
The two expansion packs are “Hearts of Stone & Blood” and “Wine”, both of which added new adventures for gamers to enjoy and take on. The expansion packs included 90 new quests which accounted for 30 hours of game play.
Rumors about the Game of the Year edition was first spotted through a listing by a Twitter user “Lifelower”.

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” Game of the Year was rated across leading game platforms like the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. To date, other game publishers have yet to come out with a rare version such as this one from CD Projekt Red.
The latest revelation on “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” somehow undermines a previous claim made by Marcin Iwinski. Back in May, Iwinski claimed that Blood and Wine were the last for the game and that no new Witcher game was planned.
While that should be good news, CD Projekt is also busy at work with another game titled “Cyberpunk 2077”. Details on the game are limited for now though it is expected to come out somewhere between 2017 and 2021.
At E3, CD Projekt revealed “Gwent”, a standalone version of The Witcher 3's card collecting and battling game. It is scheduled for September, across Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
