TWC Games, a division of The Weinstein Company and Dimension Films, announced today that its "Hellraiser: Revelations Avatar Collection" is available now, exclusively on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360. The collection features an all-new assortment of virtual items inspired by the popular Hellraiser franchise that fans can purchase to customize their Xbox LIVE avatars.
"Personalizing avatars is an excellent way for players to virtually represent themselves, their unique style or interests," said Matthew Signer, Senior Vice President, The Weinstein Company. "With the release of the Hellraiser: Revelations Avatar Collection, players now have the opportunity to express their passion for this classic franchise by outfitting their avatar with an assortment of stylish Hellraiser gear."
The "Hellraiser: Revelations Avatar Collection" lets you virtually personalize your avatar with a range of notorious Hellraiser apparel including branded props, men's and women's t-shirts, full costumes, and masks. And yes, you can dress as the infamous Pinhead, as well as other Cenobites.
The ninth addition in the franchise, "Hellraiser: Revelations" takes the story of the Lament Configuration to Mexico. Uninformed horror fans should be forewarned however, as "Revelations" was considered atrocious. Neither "Hellraiser" creator Clive Barker or longtime Pinhead actor Doug Bradley had absolutely nothing to do with the movie. It was mostly the rushed result (the entire movie was shot in 11 days) of Dimension films facing loss of rights if they didn't make a sequel to "Hellraiser: Hellworld" in time.
The 10-piece "Hellraiser: Revelations Avatar Collection" is available now on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360, with individual items ranging from 80 Microsoft Points ($1.00) to 320 Microsoft Points ($4.00).
