Before "Mr Robot" Season 2 premiere date arrives, there is one particular "Mr Robot" theory that would be worth musing over. In fact, this particular theory proves to be correct a fair warning is in order; this could be a potential "Mr Robot" Season 2 spoiler as well.
'Mr Robot' Season 2 Spoiler - Tyrell Could be Elliot
"Mr Robot" fans were taken for a ride in the first season. Everyone loved to hate that Mr Robot character who was sometimes but most times just plain annoying. But in the finale, everyone was shocked when it was eventually revealed that Mr Robot (Christian Slater) was just Elliot's (Rami Malek) psychological projection of his dead father.
But now it seems that "Mr Robot" Season 2 has another surprise up its sleeve, that is if latest theories are indeed correct. According to "Mr Robot" theories cooked up by fans, Elliot could be Tyrell as well, reports news.au.com. Or is it the other way around? It's really hard to tell at this point.
This particular "Mr Robot" theory is said to be very popular among fans. In fact, it is said to be Mr Robot's equivalent to that highly popular "Game of Thrones" theory L + R = J.
Basis For The 'Mr Robot' Theory Elliot = Tyrell = Elliot
One of the basis for this theory is that Elliot usually recoils when someone touches him in "Mr Robot" Season 1. However, it seems that he do not exhibit the same reaction when Tyrell is concerned.
In addition, in the first meeting, Tyrell told Elliot that they are the same. At the same time, Elliot can be heard saying in his mind or probably as a narrative saying "I was only born a month ago." Does this mean that Elliot is Tyrell's creation and not the other way around? It seems hard to speculate on this one but fans might have an answer when "Mr Robot" Season 2 air date arrives.
There is also that scene when Elliot "woke up" in Tyrell's car after the hacking incident in "Mr Robot" Season 1. Woke up is in quotes because viewers do not really know if he was asleep in the car or if he switch back to that Elliot identity just recently, erasing what transpired until then.
Going back to the car, the parking assistant was adamant that Elliot pay for his parking fine. Viewers are under the impression that it was indeed Elliot who parked that car as far as the parking attendant was concerned. Would fans be seeing a gradual revelation that Elliot is Tyrell in the coming "Mr Robot" Season 2?
