Production for “Justice League” is already underway though there are characters that still need to be filled up. Most of that covers the supporting cast and the main villains and Welsh actor Julian Lewis Jones taking up one of those.
But the better question right now is what role Jones will have. Will he be a villain or be one of the many supporting casts for “Justice League” set for November 17, 2017?
Jones is best known for his role on “Stella”, a Sky 1 drama. He revealed his mystery role for the DC flick via Wales Online but did not get into specifics. Understandably, he has been ordered to clam up and refrain from divulging any information on what role he will be having on “Justice League”.
While his role is a mystery on “Justice League”, he did reveal that it was one of the most expensive films ever made. Parts of the film were shot at UK and Iceland which will see the return of top stars like Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (Superman) and Jeremy Irons (Alfred).
Expected to join the cast are Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and Ezra Miller (The Flash).
Who will Julian Lewis Jones likely portray?
Though he didn’t mention it, rumors are swirling on who he could possibly play on “Justice League”. Comic Book Movie suggests that he could end up playing “Atlan”, the first king of Atlantis or perhaps a voice-over character villain of either “Darkseid” and/or “Steppenwolf”.
Jones is a proven veteran actor who should be a big help. Following the divided feedback on “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, it will be interesting if he becomes a key asset to allow “Justice League” win over the fans yet again.
Jones has proven his craft before and has worked with popular celebrities in the film industry. That list includes Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon, a talented cast which should make him at ease with the star-studded “Justice League”personalities.
