Blame it on sheer curiosity but "Sister Wives" Season 7 continued to be a hit despite the rather unorthodox subject of the reality show. In fact, the last episode of "Sister Wives" Season 7 is one of the most talked episodes of the show.
"Sister Wives" Season 7 ended with the episode 25 appropriately titled "Tell All." Among the numerous topics being discussed in the season ender with host Erica Hill, it seems that viewer interest is mostly focused on the topic about Meri being catfished.
Meri Brown's Online Relationship With "Sam Cooper"
In an explosive revelation last year and probably the most controversial event in "Sister Wives" Season 7, a woman who was pretending to be a man successfully entered into some sort of online relationship with Meri. Eventually, new broke out that Meri was just catfished; the man she had come to know as Sam Cooper was actually a woman named Jackie Overton.
Meri's Daughter Tried to Intervene
In "Sister Wives" Season 7 Tell All episode, Mariah, Meri's daughter revealed she actually tried to put an end to the online relationship, reports US Weekly. In fact, Mariah told Erica Hill that she know what was happening right from the start.
"I tried to tell her and I tried to make it not happen and she just did it anyway," recounts Mariah during "Sister Wives" Season 7 Tell All. Mariah added that "She didn't listen to me."
Kody Understands Meri And Offers Explanation
Meri might have succumbed to the catfishing but to Kody's eyes, their haters that should be blamed. Kody explains that many of the viewers "Sister Wives" are actually haters who would really love to ruin their unusual marital arrangements.
To those not familiar with the show, "Sister Wives" is actually a reality tv series documenting the life of a polygamist family. Due to the sensitive nature of their living arrangement, the show is bound to rake up its share of haters. Kody believes that the catfisher is just one of those haters.
Kody also understands that Meri was just vulnerable at that point when the catfisher, Jackie Overton, initiated contact. Due to their legal divorce, there was some emotional gap created between him and Meri which allowed the intrusion of an outsider into their lives during "Sister Wives" Season 7.
