"Preacher" Season 1 Episode 6's Angel Free-For-All Death Match
The episode "Sundowner" was named after Fiore and DeBlanc's hotel for one very good reason: the epic fight between a seraph, two Adelphi angels, a vampire and a preacher took place in their hotel room.
Remember the awesome church fight scene between Cassidy, Fiore and DeBlanc in "Preacher" Season 1 Episode 2? That amazing sequence offered a taste of what could happen in "Sundowner".
Jesse and Cassidy now know how to defeat an angel ("don't kill it, restrain it!"), but luckily for the viewers, they learned the hard (and entertaining) way. But will they use their newfound knowledge against more seraphs looking for Genesis in "Preacher" Season 1 Episode 7?
Jesse Custer Learns About Genesis In "Preacher" Season 1 Episode 6
One of the first things that happened in "Sundowner" was the revelation about the powerful entity inside Jesse. Using the Word of God, Jesse forces Fiore and DeBlanc to tell him about Genesis in "Preacher" Season 1 Episode 6.
In "Preacher" Season 1 Episode 6, the preacher (and the audience) finally learned that Genesis is the offspring of a demon and an angel that escaped Fiore and DeBlanc.
Nobody knows why Genesis decided to possess Jesse in the "Preacher" Season 1 pilot, but one thing is confirmed: Genesis is not God, and God probably wouldn't send poor Eugene to hell. But can Jesse undo what he did to Eugene in "Preacher" Season 1 Episode 7?
Jesse Custer Uses The Word Of God To Tell Eugene To "Go To Hell." Uh-Oh.
In "Preacher" Season 1 Episode 6, the angry Jesse tells Eugene to "go to hell." This was probably not a good idea, because the boy instantly disappeared. But is there any chance that Jesse can get Eugene back before Sheriff Root discovers his son's disappearance?
Unfortunately, the title of "Preacher" Season 1 Episode 7 is simply "He Gone". In addition to that, the promo for the episode shows Sheriff Root looking for Eugene. Things are not looking up for Jesse Custer.
"Preacher" Season 1 Episode 7 will air on AMC on July 10.
