E! Online has exclusive evidence that Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) will be proposing to Katy Hart (Cheryl Texiera) in the coming episodes of "Girl Meets World." It seems that on-and-off love affair finally sees a resolution.
According to the website, Shawn finally decides to spend his lifetime with Katy and her daughter, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) as one family. In an emotional episode of "Girl Meets World," he revealed that his feelings haven't changed despite their rocky relationship.
Shawn Hunter teamed up with bestie Cory (Ben Savage) to plan the emotional moment. E! Online had exclusive pictures of the tear-jerking moment when Hunter gets down to one knee before Katy.

Hunter Not Good For Katy?
While most fans will be filled with joy on the engagement news of Shawn Hunter and Katy Hart, some may not express the same sentiments.
Bustle presented a different view on Shawn Hunter and Katy Hart's engagement. Writer Atkinson pointed out that there were unresolved issues between Hunter and Hart as seen in the previous episodes of "Girl Meets World."
To be specific, Shawn Hunter contradicts the parenting style of Katy most of the time. More so, Hunter often ignores the rules she sets for Maya.
The article also made mention how critical Shawn Hunter was of Katy Hart's dreams to become an actress when they first met in "Girl Meets World." There are a lot more instances that serve as a warning for a disastrous relationship.
These issues are deemed essential that should be resolved before delving into marriage.
Now, it remains to be seen if the engagement will prove beneficial for Maya. This is questionable since Shawn Hunter seemed resolved to have his own way in terms of dealing with Maya.
