Borderlands 2's Sir Hammerlock Tells You Everything You Need to Know About Pandora (Watch it Here!!)

Meet Sir Hammerlock. He'll be your guide here on Pandora, ready to take you through the ins and outs for first time visitors. He goes over the new areas of Pandora, new character classes, their abilities, character customization, the mind boggling array of weaponry, and the enemies you can kill them with, relics, class mods, and are you still reading this? Watch the video already!

If all that's not enough to keep you occupied, worry not, because Gearbox has also promised downloadable content will be on its way shortly after the game's release.

Part of said DLC is a new character called "The Mechromancer."

Something of a cyborg, little is known about her, even her actual name. As indicated by her name, she will have the ability to take control of mechs, and will also be able to summon the D374-TP, lovingly referred to as the "Deathtrap," what Gearbox's president Randy Pitchford described as claptraps big angry cousin, calling it a, "gigantic evil robot that'll just beat the living shit out of the enemies."

2K and Gearbox are also promising four additional campaigns for Borderlands 2 that will eventually be available to download. And if you're the type who wants to save some cash, you'll be able to get a hold of them with the Season Pass, a means for gamers to get access to all four of Borderlands 2's upcoming DLC episodes. It offers the chance to get all the episodes (when available) for $29.99, instead of paying $9.99 on the PlayStation Network, or 800 MS Points on XBox Live for each campaign.

While Borderlands 2 does feature a roster of new faces for players to pick from, the OG vault hunters are still on-planet. You'll be able to accept missions from Mordecai, Roland, Lilith, and Brick.

The Borderlands await. Borderlands 2 hits stores on September 18.
