"The Elder Scrolls 6" is one of the most anticipated Bethesda titles of the moment, and yet the details about the game are very limited. Nevertheless, there are rumors that "TES6" will take place in a new setting and is set for release in the future!
'The Elder Scrolls 6' Will Be Set In Argonia?
"The Elder Scrolls" fans have several theories about which location will be chosen for the highly-awaited title.
Although most fans are pointing to the possibility that Regard and Battlemire are perfect locations for "TES6", Digital Spy suggests that it would be set in Argonia.
The Argonia rumors don't have a particular basis other than the lizard folk's home being a natural progression for "The Elder Scrolls" franchise. In addition to that, there are speculations that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be set in Redwood.
The setting for "The Elder Scrolls 6" might not yet be set. However, there are already possibilities on when "TES6" will be released in the future.
'The Elder Scrolls 6' Set For A 2019 Release Date?
First, here is the bad news. Pete Hines of Bethesda has recently confirmed that "The Elder Scrolls 6" was not announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 because nobody is working on it. Well, at least, for now.

The good news is, Todd Howard confirmed that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is definitely something Bethesda will develop. However, there are two major projects that the developer is working on right now.
"When you think about what is the future of that kind of game, we have a pretty good idea of what that's going to be, and it's just going to take technology and time we don't necessarily have right now," Howard stated.
So how far off in the future will "The Elder Scrolls 6" finally be released? Fans can expect an announcement sometime next year. Unfortunately, it looks like "TES6" will be released in 2019.
