“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” has been doing fine on its own without major superheroes appearing but season 4 could have someone interesting.
This is after word came out that an SDCC teaser ad and casting call brought up the possibility of adding “Ghost Rider” to the mix for the coming season of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” per Comic Book.
The “Ghost Rider” character is of course one of the more recognizable characters to Marvel comic book fans though there were a couple of big screen films that came out. Nicolas Cage portrayed “Johnny Blaze” on those films but the TV series rendition may be a big different.
Searching for a pair of Latino brothers in 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 4
The casting call tied up to “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” involves a pair of Latino brothers. One is described as the “most dangerous person in the room” while the other will be “paralyzed in a wheelchair”, Screen Rant reports.
For those who have been into the comic book craze, such calls to mind “Robbie Reyes”, a Mexican-American who drives a flaming black muscle car and not the same motorcycle that “Johnny Blaze” used. He had a disabled brother named Gabe.
Seeing how the modern world has made the necessary tweaks in the movies or TV, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” could see a fabricated rendition of “Ghost Rider”.
How can 'Ghost Rider' fit in 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 4 ?
Seeing how “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” covers conflicts involving “Hydra” and “Inhumans” it will be interesting to see how producers would be squeezing in a familiar Marvel hero in the mix. Will he be considered an inhuman as well?
For those who are not familiar with the modern day rendition of “Ghost Rider”, the series from Felipe Smith and Tradd Moore focuses on the bond of Robbie and Gabe.
Robbie gets his powers following an unfortunate run-in with hit squad of Dr. Zabo, eventually costing him his life when his car gets blown up. The car eventually becomes his ticket to return, thanks to Eli Morrow who is behind his new lease on life and powers.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is set to return this September on ABC so watch out for that.
