It has been a month since The CW's hit fantasy TV series "Supernatural" last aired and the main stars of the show have a couple of wishes for the showrunners to do in Season 12.
"Supernatural's" season ender titled "Alpha and Omega" was epic with the showrunners digging into a very primordial issue that existed even before the era recorded in the Bible. Some fans who reviewed the show in iMDB even call it "the balance of the season."
But moving on to what is ahead, "Supernatural" main actors Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki who play the Winchester Brothers, Dean and Sam have a couple of things they want to change in the way the showrunners do it. In an interview with TV Line, Padalecki revealed that it would be a good idea to bring out more exchanges between his character and Castiel in the show's 12th season which premieres on October 13 on The CW.
"I love Misha [Collins]. I get a lot of Sam/Dean scenes, and I love Jensen, but I love exploring the Sam/Castiel relationship," he said. Meanwhile, Ackles, who plays the other half of the revered Winchester Brothers wishes to shoot more hunting scenes like they did during the earlier seasons of "Supernatural."
He particularl noted that purgatory was a particularly "cool" ingredient in the story that the showrunners should consider revisiting them. However, he admits that he do not have any inkling as to how they could manage it considering the current flow of the story.
"I'm a big fan of the original format of the show, the monster-of-the-week kind of thing. [But] I don't know how we necessarily get back to that with everything that's happened," he told the outlet. As of the moment, "Supernatural" season 12 is still in the works with Ackles having a great time shooting an expanded storyline that covers the Men of Letters mythology which was introduced during the Season 11 finale episode.
