"Bioshock: The Collection" was confirmed after 2K Games uploaded screenshots from the long-rumored set of remasters. Leaks the past nine months have suggested its existence; however, the release date was announced finally to be on Sept. 16.
'Bioshock: The Collection' Confirmed
According to Polygon, 2K Games posted screenshots from "Bioshock: The Collection" and a user on NeoGAF spotted them first. The series of images are hosted on the official website.
More so, 2K added a page showing the set's name, however, they were later pulled down.
The pictures confirm the long-rumored 2K "Bioshock" remasters. The company never officially confirmed the game. Updates have been made through retailer leaks and other details.
In September last year, a retailer revealed that "Bioshock: The Collection" is headed to PS4 and Xbox One. Not long after, the box art for the collection appeared.

The Collection Set
Metro UK said that "Bioshock: The Collection" will include "Bioshock," Bioshock 2" and "Bioshock Infinite." More so, the collection will include all the single-player DLC for each and new video series by Ken Levine, the franchise creator.
The new video series is called "Director's Commentary: Imagining Bioshock." This video series will not include multi-player elements from Bioshock 2, the report said.
The remaster is supervised by a developer called Blind Squirrel, which may be new to most gamers. "Bioshock: The Collection" will be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
No further details were revealed about the remasters. Reports said that "Bioshock: The Collection" will be refined so graphic can look better than before. Meanwhile, critics are quite skeptical with its massive production cost.
Although "Bioshock: The Collection" is quite anticipated by many, there may not be enough sales to cover the production cost. All remain as speculations until its released on Sept. 16.
