In order to be successful, "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" needs to pass two million units of sales as announced in Nintendo's shareholder's meeting recently. With this target, "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is still considered as one of the most important game since "Ocarina of Time."
2 Million Target Sales
According to Gamerant, "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was among the best games showcased at E3 2016. With its positive reception at E3 2016, franchise creator Shigeru Miyamoto hopes that this could translate to big sales when it's released on 2017.
During a shareholder's meeting, Nintendo discussed several things about "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," including its target sales.
Miyamoto revealed that the only way to recoup the cost of production is to sell 2 million units worldwide.
Nintendo also shared some interesting facts about "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." Miyamoto said that over 100 staff worked on the highly-anticipated title.
In the credits, the game will feature more than 300 people who have contributed in one form or another to its completion.
With vast amount people working to create "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" in the duration of five years, it's no wonder that Nintendo's target sales reached two million in order to be successful.

Most Important Game Since 'Ocarina Of Time'
Although two million sales is quite ambitious, "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is quite special and would easily hit its target sales.
