Director Lesli Glatter admitted that she isn't sure what will happen to Claire Danes' character in the critically-acclaimed television drama "Homeland." It seems that Carrie Mathison still has a long way to go to achieve inner peace in "Homeland" Season 6.

According to Huffington Post, director Lesli Glatter admitted doubts on how she sees Carrie Mathison in the end. However, she added that Alex Gansa, "Homeland" Season 6 showrunner and mastermind, may already have something in mind.
Claire Danes portrays the role of Carrie Mathison, an intelligence analyst that often deals life-or-death decisions. Although she appears as a ruthless CIA agent, she is fighting an inner turmoil: being bipolar.
This could be challenging in her quest for inner peace.
In the last five seasons, viewers have seen Carrie Mathison as a broken person. Her missions in the previous seasons will affect her state of mind. This will be apparent in the upcoming "Homeland" Season 6.

Claire Danes Discusses Carrie Mathison in 'Homeland' Season 6
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reported that Claire Danes teased "Homeland" fans during the "Film Society of Lincoln Center's Women of Homeland" event earlier this month.
Clair Danes said that fans will see Carrie Mathison struggling with her troubled past as she strives to find inner peace in "Homeland" Season 6. While Mathison struggles with her guilt, she's taking her meds making her mentally capable somehow.
More so, "Homeland" Season 6 will see developments between Carrie and Quinn (Rupert Friend). Quinn was in critical condition in last season though it has been confirmed that he will resume for another season.
It remains unknown how his character would become in "Homeland" Season 6.
"Homeland" is set until season 9 in Showtime. "Homeland" Season 6 will resume air time on January 2017.
