Back in October, Square Enix released "Final Fantasy Brave Exvius," a mobile role-playing game for iOS and Android devices limited to Japan gamers. Development began in 2014, when it was teased during the "Final Fantasy Live" event in Tokyo. According to a Hyperion post in Gumi, the mobile game is a "full fledged JRPG with a 'deep story and diverse characters.'" It is produced by Brave Frontier's Hisatoshi Hayakashi alongside A-Lim.

According to the listing, the game will feature intuitive and strategic battles and a vast realm to explore, ensuring gamers an epic journey. "Final Fantasy" was created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, with the first installment of the series premiering in 1987. Since then, the series has went on to create 14 installments, with "Final Fantasy XV" coming this September 30.

Sakaguchi recently spoke to Famitsu to shed light on the development of "Final Fantasy XV," and he shared some insightful thoughts on how working together yielded the best results in terms of creating the game.

"From the very beginning Final Fantasy was the fruit of a team effort," Sakaguchi said. "To compete with games like Dragon Quest or Mario Bros., both of which clearly show the presence of highly talented individuals, I realized we’d need to aggregate the energies of multiple people. Maybe this team approach has grown into a tradition of sorts."

Now that the game is about to arrive, Sakaguchi admits that the limited time is putting additional pressure on the team. He stressed that the months leading up to the release is basically an uphill climb, considering it as the toughest part of development, most likely because it is a limited time frame to put in the final touches and last minute changes to perfect the game.

"Final Fantasy XV" will be released on September 30, while Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is now available.
