The "War of the Five Kings" dominated most part of the story in the past seasons of "Game of Thrones." Now, the series will be entering a new kind of war that is said to be more brutal than the previous ones: The War of the Three Monarchs.
Cersei Baratheon
According to Screenrant, the final two season of "Game of Thrones" will feature a different kind of conflict. Learn the major players and the different alliances that could be formed in the next seasons.
For the first time, Westeros is being led by a Queen in the 300 years since it dominated the Seven Kingdoms. Queen Cersei Baratheon has finally sat on the Iron Throne after her only living son Tommen committed suicide.
Cersei has been a queen or a queen regent for nearly two decades but she hasn't led Westeros on her own until now. Cersei is a masterful player that goes after her father, Tywin Lannister. She is adept at reading people's minds, even making her plans well ahead before her enemies could formulate theirs.

Jon Snow/Stark
Meanwhile, leading the north is Jon Snow. After the epic battle against Ramsay Bolton, Jon Snow was proclaimed the White Wolf and the new King of the North.
However, the North isn't exactly in a perfect shape after the war of the Five Kings and the onslaught of winter. Weariness after the war and the lack of resources for the coming winter could prove deadly for Jon Snow's reign.
Daenerys Targaryen
Daenerys Targaryen is the last of the original royal bloodline and has a concrete claim to the Iron Throne. However, the previous monarch, Mad King Aerys, was overthrown for a valid reason. This could prove problematic when she conquers King's Landing.
Westeros may be looking for another ruler aside from Cersei, but they would be very hesitant to trust another Targaryen.
Among the three monarchs, Queen Daenerys stands strong with her Iron Fleet and countless scores of Unsullied.
As pointed by HeatStreet, the next two season will definitely show some girl power. Arya has also sought help from Daenerys to take back Iron Islands. In turn, she will help Daenerys take Westeros.
However, there's the problem beyond the wall. This could shift her focus from the King's Landing to the North.
However, it's easy to see Jon Snow putting aside political differences to side with Daenerys to fight the undead.
