A lot of fans are now excited for the upcoming release of the "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" movie. However, recent reports are claiming that the film is now cancelled after lead star Dylan O'Brien got serious injuries while filming for the much-anticipated second sequel.
Dylan O'Brien's 'Maze Runner: The Death Cure' movie now cancelled
Followers of the "Maze Runner" series were alarmed when it was first reported that Dylan O'Brien cannot film for the upcoming second sequel anymore after suffering from some serious injuries. While most fans think "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" will now be cancelled, Entertainment Weekly has made it clear that it will just be moved to a new release date.
The "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" is reportedly going to be shown on Jan. 12, 2018 and not on Feb. 17, 2017. The management and the production team have debunked the reports about the movie being cancelled after Dylan O'Brien asked for a few months break.
It can be recalled that Dylan O'Brien was reportedly rushed in a hospital after the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 actor got hit by a car during an action scene. However, it was later learned that Fox is the one to be blamed as it allowed the "Deepwater Horizon" to do the stunt without even rehearsing for it.
Dylan O'Brien to star with Harry Styles in 'Teen Wolf' Season 6
Meanwhile, Dylan O'Brien has already been confirmed to be returning in "Teen Wolf" Season 6 while he still recovering from his injuries from the "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" set. As a matter of fact, GamenGuide has reported that he will be leading that show alongside Harry Styles, who will be playing a role of a vampire.
Reports about Harry Styles joining "Teen Wolf" Season 6 have been surfacing the internet for quite a while after the showrunner himself revealed that they are in the talks with the One Direction singer. The same rumors have spread like wildfire last week after Harry Styles was confirmed to be leaving One Direction to pursue a career in Hollywood.
Though everything is possible to happen anytime, no official word about Harry Styles and "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" star Dylan O'Brien leading the cast of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 has been released as of yet. However, fans are positive that these ideas will be turned into reality soon.
"Maze Runner: The Death Cure" is slated to restart production early next year. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" spoilers, news and updates!
