Thousands of fans are now excited for the impending release of the "Avatar 2" movie. Now, new reports are claiming that the delay of the first sequel is due to the fact James Cameron is taking things slowly but surely as he plans to have four installments.
'Avatar 2' delayed due to James Cameron's plans to have more sequels
Christian Daily has revealed the main reason why details about "Avatar 2" remain unclear until now is because James Cameron's plans to have a total of four sequels. According to reports, the veteran director has increased the number of "Avatar" sequel from two to four.
Originally, "Avatar 2" was scheduled to be released in 2014 but it did not push through. The sequel was then moved to a 2015 release but, still, no updates were made during that time. Now, "Avatar 2" is slated to be released in December 2018.
Reports have it the Avatars will be battling against a new alien species in the "Avatar" 2 movie. Other spoilers have also claimed that dead characters in the first film will resurrect in the upcoming sequel.

International Design Times has reported that Stephen Lang's character, Col. Miles Quaritch, is definitely coming back in the upcoming "Avatar 2" movie. James Cameron has revealed to Deadline that Col. Miles Quaritch will be evolving in across the "Avatar" saga.
Aside from Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver is also set to appear in "Avatar 2" movie. She will be reprising her role as Dr. Grace Augustine, who helped Jake Sully (Sam Worthington).
Other "Avatar 2" spoilers have revealed new habitat, friends, enemies and settings should be expected in the upcoming film. According to reports, there will still be a continuation with the human versus nature theme.
