As suspicious as it sounds, it appears that "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" have a special connection to tie up the storyline.
The "Kingdom Hearts 3" co-director Tai Yasue explained that "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" is the key to understanding the storyline of "Kingdom Hearts 3."
If you will not know anything about Aqua's sorrow and torment in "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue," you will not be able to attach yourself to the character when you finally get your hands on the much awaited "Kingdom Hearts 3."

To steer away from the previous installments, the "Kingdom Hearts 3" co-director explained that they want a different gameplay for "Kingdom Hearts 3" and it will feature the popular Disney worlds this time around.
The main protagonist of "Kingdom Hearts 3," Sora will visit the worlds that are inspired by the popular Disney films and franchises along with his friends.
Each world will have their specific challenges and battles in "Kingdom Hearts 3."
According to reports, "Tangled," "Hercules," "Mysterious Tower" and "Big Hero 6" are confirmed to be part of the worlds in "Kingdom Hearts 3."
There are also rumors that "Zootopia," "Toy Story," "Star Wars" and "Frozen" will also be included in "Kingdom Hearts 3."

As expected, "Kingdom Hearts 3" was not the main focus of Square Enix at E3 2016, leaving fans with no choice but to wait for new updates to know more about the game and eventually get their hands on "Kingdom Hearts 3" as soon as "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" launches in Winter 2016.
