Speaking with Gold Derby, "Sense8" showrunner J. Michael Straczynski revealed their inspiration for creating the sequence for Netflix.
"[This is] a show talking about the fact that we are better together than we are apart, that we are strengthened and not diminished by a multitude of voices, might be a good message to pass along," the producer explained about "Sense8."
Ecumenical News reported that J. Michael Straczynski together with his co-writers, Lana and Lilly Wachowski, for "Sense8" believe that as humans, people should work in unity and not apart.
Hence, the group produced "Sense8" to tell the story of eight strangers from diverse countries to impart their senses.

Meanwhile, in "Sense8" Season 1, Kala (Tina Desai) proved that she doesn't have feelings for Rajan (Purab Kohli), who is set for her to marry, Christian Today reported.
However, a photo of the two stars on "Sense8" official Instagram page revealed that they are now very sweet to each other.
This made the fans of "Sense8" worry for Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) as they believe Kala is meant for him.
To recall, Kala was deeply in love with Wolfgang in "Sense 8" Season 1, but the new snap suggested that she's now so into Rajan for Season 2.
But, supporters of the show don't have to worry as a picture of a romantic Kala and Wolfgang earlier surfaced for "Sense8" Season 2.
There is no definite release date of "Sense8" Season 2, but it is expected to be watched on Netflix in the first quarter of 2017.
