Apple’s iPhone 7 is expected to come with little upgrades when it officially comes out this September. Among those new features include the design, storage and improved cameras.

A new leak from NWR claims that the photos on their end are the rear shots of the upcoming iPhone 7 and 7 Plus rear shells. Based on the images, the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 shows larger lens opening together with antenna bands that have been relocated. As far as the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus is concerned, it will allegedly have twin lenses, per reports.
Two 4.7-inch iPhone 7 variants?
Folks who have closely monitored the iPhone 7 situation are aware that one of the changes will include the iteration of the 3.5 mm jack. The past weeks have claimed the removal (and retention) of the 3.5 mm jack which has thrown people off course.
Chinese repair shop Rock Fix may have an explanation for the claims, revealing that there will be two 4.7-inch iPhone 7 variants. One will retain the 3.5 mm jack and is likely to be the cheaper model while the other one without it will be the higher end according to Engadget.
Other iPhone 7 features and specs
As far as the iPhone 7 Plus is concerned, there will only be one variant and the 3.5 mm jack is likely to be erased. Regardless, the feature people are more concerned about are the new cameras that are looming to be one of the few bright spots for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
The iPhone 7 is likely to offer something like an optical image stabilization feature for its built-in camera with the iPhone 7 Plus offering the dual-lens camera module.
If it is true that there will be two iPhone 7 variants, the higher model (the one without a 3.5 mm jack) could possibly come with a dual-lens module though that remains to be seen.
Aside from the cameras, many are awaiting if Apple will bump up the minimum storage capacity to 256 GB and whether the physical home button has been indeed taken out.
