There is little doubt that John Boyega was launched into superstardom as Finn in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
His portrayal as the lightsaber-wielding ex-Stormtrooper may have looked original, but it wasn't the first time the world saw Boyega with a deadly blade. He already showed off some major sword-fighting moves in 2011's "Attack the Block".
The World Needs An 'Attack The Block' Sequel
Anyone who has seen "Attack the Block" was undoubtedly blown away by John Boyega's performance as Moses.
Some fans even believe that the bloody handprint on Finn's Stormtrooper helmet in "The Force Awakens" was a nod to Moses' face wound in "Attack the Block" because it was THAT awesome.
John Boyega was so awesome in "Attack the Block" that the Joe Cornish film deserves a sequel STAT. But is "Attack the Block 2" happening right now?
Is John Boyega Working On An 'Attack The Block' Sequel With Joe Cornish?
John Boyega has just tweeted about meeting up with "Attack the Block" director Joe Cornish. As if that wasn't exciting enough, he teased that they are "brainstorming" on #something new.
Saw Joe Cornish the other day. Yes. We are brainstorming. #somethingnew

John Boyega's fans are not the only ones going nuts over the possibility on an "Attack the Block" sequel.
The sci-fi flick was the last film that Joe Cornish directed and it is impossible to think about a sequel being helmed by a different person.
Will Joe Cornish And John Boyega Return For 'Attack The Block 2'?
In "Attack the Block", Moses (John Boyega) and a group of teenagers team up with a nurse to fight vicious aliens terrorizing their neighborhood.
By the end of the film, John Boyega's Moses is arrested but not before his neighbors applauded him on for a job well done. Hopefully, that was a hint that Moses' job isn't done just yet.
