PS 4.5 Neo Latest News & Updates: To Be Launched This September At The Tokyo Games Show?

Sony might just be on schedule in releasing one of the most awaited gaming consoles this year and it might just be announced at an earlier date, well for sure no one is complaining.

Tokyo Games 2016

VR World reported that the PS 4.5 Neo will make its debut this coming September at the Tokyo Games 2016. The event will last for four days in Sept. 15-18, VR World also stated that the Sony will make the gaming console available at the hands of the gaming market this coming Christmas season.

It's also rumored that Playstation VR is about to drop in the coming months and Sony will most likely follow up the release with the PS 4.5 Neo. As Xbox is also busy with their Project Scorpio, having an earlier release might just do the trick to outdo their biggest rival.

Why the PS 4.5 Neo was a no show at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016?

Sony's global marketing head and sales Jim Ryan has a nice explanation regarding the PS 4.5 Neo's non appearance. He basically said that they would have wanted to focus the limelight of the media and the gamers over the stories of their featured games, and introducing the much awaited gaming console PS 4.5 Neo would have just stolen the thunder of the game announcements.

"We had such a strong and, I'd say, pure story about games," Ryan said. "You are not alone in making the comment - and I think it is a legitimate comment - about only just getting going on the games side of things on PS4. I think that needed to be addressed and by focusing exclusively on the games last night, hopefully we have laid that to bogey to rest." With Sony being a tease and secretive at the same time, it just makes us more excited  for the debut of PS 4.5 Neo.
