Remember when Jared Leto weirded his "Suicide Squad" costars out by staying in character as The Joker throughout filming? How about that time when he sent the cast some strange NSFW presents?
That might all be in the past now, but Jared Leto's "Suicide Squad" costar Viola Davis remembers it like it was yesterday. And no, she doesn't look back at it fondly.
Viola Davis Almost Gives Jared Leto A Faceful Of Pepper Spray
Viola Davis recently spoke to E! News about her "Suicide Squad" experience, revealing that she got a box of bullets from Jared Leto. She may be "pretty tough," but Davis admitted "it was a little worrisome."
The gift clearly made her cautious around Jared Leto while they were filming "Suicide Squad". Viola Davis also shared that she was prepared when she met Leto's alter ego on the set, and it wasn't a pleasant experience.
"I almost had my pepper spray out," Davis confessed.

That's right, Viola Davis went to work on the "Suicide Squad" set with pepper spray in her pocket. The awesome thing is, she probably didn't just reserve it for Jared Leto's The Joker.
The "Suicide Squad" Experience
In an interview with Yahoo!, Jai Courtney revealed that "Suicide Squad" director David Ayer played psychological tricks on the cast.
"There's all sorts of little tricks he has, manipulations that fold into the process, you don't know you're victim to until it's in full effect," Courtney shared.
Whatever those "tricks" were, they were certainly effective. The cast of "Suicide Squad" look like a class of legit maniacs and Jared Leto is the A student.
"Suicide Squad" also stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg. But you probably already know that.
Watch out for Jared Leto's The Joker in "Suicide Squad" when the film crashes into theaters on August 5.
