Earth species have set foot on Mars. Or hoof, or feather, or whatever, since the species aren't of the human variety.
The new update to Angry Birds Space, Red Planet, is out today. Red Planet keeps the same space birds, but adds new levels. But Red Planet adds a "Curiosity Rover" twist.

Instead of players hunting for Golden Eggs, they'll need to pilot their bands to land on rover vehicles dotted amongst the landscape. But despite this new element, it's still the same addictive gameplay that made Angry Birds the powerhouse it is today.
Since it's release by RovioMobile in 2009, the original Angry Birds and all its additions have reached (cumulatively) over one billion downloads. It's now available on everything from Facebook, to mobile phones, nooks, and iPads, and will eventually make a nest on home consoles as well. With its own line of clothing, toys, and a TV series in the works, Angry Birds is considered (relative to costs) one of the most profitable games in history.
