After all the piracy problems for "Fallout 4," Bethesda has introduced a new update that could just solve this problem for its gamers.
The new 'Fallout 4' Creation DLC update
With the new Creation DLC update for "Fallout 4," gamers are now mandated to connect their Bethesda accounts to their Steam accounts before syncing any mods into the game. Now, this could possibly solve the problem of PC mod creators of their work being used without their consent by several console players.
In an effort to protect the mod creators, Bethesda now has a channel where victims could file their grievances or complaints with the the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to have the content extracted. Now to sync your Bethesda account, first start "Fallout 4," then go to Mods, and finally log in, now the system will automatically sync your Bethesda account to your Steam account and your good to go.
'Fallout 4' Bug fixes and optimizations for the PS4
Bethesda has raised a PS4 Mod support and also has created bug fixes and optimizations in the new update for "Fallout 4." So gamers complaints can now be addressed faster or has already been solved.
Here are the known issues with PS4 Mods:
-
PC textures are used. Memory and performance issues may occur. We are working with Sony on optimal texture exporting support in a future update.
-
Sound files are currently not supported. PS4 sound format is a proprietary format. We are working with Sony on sound file processing support in a future update.
-
PS4 Mod Storage limit is approximately 900 MB at present. Please do not upload mods larger than 900 MB. We are working with Sony to increase this limit.
