How humbly we bow before thee, Rockstar, for thy latest bestowment of pictures for thine own upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5. The glizty screenshots, though limited, are still pretty darn imprssive. Excuse my language. Check 'em out below!
Grand Theft Auto is easily one of the biggest videogame franchises in history, and the next title in the series, Grand Theft Auto 5, is expected to raise the experience to new heights. As of yet, very little is known about the next addition, except that it's set in the Los Angeles-inspired city of Los Santos (note the wrap on the license plate of the car), last seen in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and players will take on the role of a reformed criminal who finds himself forced back into the game.
Titled on rockstar's own website as "Transport," it's easy to assume that the presented pics are just a few of the ways we'll be getting around Los Santos and beyond. Not shown, the 'ol shoe leather express. Of course we all expected cars, but I enjoy that a good 'ol two wheeler will be present again. Might this be indicative of shedding weight and changing body styles ala Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas? Rockstar's not saying. However, make sure you look at all those lights shown in the airplane shot, which gives us an idea as to how large Los Santos will be. Add this to the helicoptor shot we got the first time around, and rest assured we'll be able to take to the skies once more.
Beyond the aforementioned information and screenshots, Rockstar has yet to provide additional information, including a release date. If you haven't yet, check the trailer below to further whet your appetite.
