Seth Rollins will officially wrestle his first match this Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank 2016 as he looks to regain the title which he was forced to vacate last November. Rollins had to give up the WWE title due to injuries but now looks good to go.
He will be going up against a formidable opponent, former “Shield” buddy Roman Reigns. Since the group broke up, both and Dean Ambrose have gone separate ways. The two were actually scheduled to face off at WWE Survivor Series before “The Architect” fell to injury so their upcoming main event should be a must see
Redesign, Rebuild and Reclaim
Despite the fact that he has yet to wrestle an official match since returning at WWE Payback, Rollins is confident about his chances. Though he is talented, Rollin is expected to use his wit to outduel the “Big Dog” this Sunday.
The fact that he has not yet officially wrestled one match has become a mind boggler. Is the approach part of Rollins’ tactic to outthink the reigning WWE champion?
The past weeks have show Rollins focus more on mind games that actually getting it on with Reigns. The move is not surprising but puts a big question mark on “The Architect’s” ability to compete physically as mentioned on the Bleacher Report.
Everyone knows the severity of that knee injury he sustained though he may have already adjusted off-screen. But will it be enough to give the WWE fans a good show?
As mentioned in a previous post, a clean match will likely see Reigns retain the title. The only way that Rollins comes out winning is if he resorts to some dirty tactic as before. It could be something instigated by him or by a third party.
Stern warning to Money in the Bank winner issued
While the Reigns vs. Rollins match should be a brutal and draining one, Rollins warns the 2016 WWE Money in the Bank winner not to even entertain thoughts of cashing in on the same night.
Rollins made the warning during an interview with Michael Cole via PWMania.
