"Law & Order: SVU" fans have been shipping Lt. Olivia Benson and Captain Ed Tucker for quite awhile, but nothing really happened in their relationship for the past seasons.
Now, "Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 will try to change that. Mariska Hargitay previously shared to E! Online that Lt. Olivia Benson feels special whenever she is around Captain Ed Tucker in "Law & Order: SVU."
"He's so masculine and so strong and so powerful that she can [exhale] because he's that, so [Benson] gets to be a different color," Mariska Hargitay said.
Benson Lt. Olivia Benson is known for being a tough woman in "Law & Order: SVU," so to meet someone who matches her personality, it brings out the different side of her.

'Law & Order: SVU' Season 18 Spoilers: Noah approves of Captain Ed Tucker?
Lt. Olivia Benson's adopted son, Noah, may have liked the effect that Captain Ed Tucker has made to his mom as Ecumenical News suggests that Noah "likes his mother's very special friend in the new season of 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.'"
The site shared that one of the main reasons why Noah likes Captain Ed Tucker is that he feels "at ease with him."
If this will continue, there is definitely a huge chance in "Law & Order: SVU" season 18 that Lt. Olivia Benson will finally realize that Captain Ed Tucker could be someone that is going to be her partner in life.
