Sony had a full plate at the E3 as expected with most anticipating more focus on the next game console the company had to offer. Instead, games took the spotlight and one familiar game title got noticed – “Resident Evil VII” Biohazard."
“Resident Evil VII” Biohazard” was in the spotlight along with other upcoming games that include “Star Wars Battlefront” and “Arkham V” (a successor to the “Batman Arkham Saga”). What did these games have in common? The game titles place the PS VR in focus.
Sony’s PS VR gained its share of attention, something that was previously known as “Project Morpheus” back in 2014. After a long wait, it was revealed that the Sony PS VR will finally be out by October 13 for $399, setting up the stage for the virtual reality experience of the games mentioned via the NY Daily.
While all games offer some unique kind of game play, “Resident Evil VII: Biohazard” should be something to look forward to. Just imagine the previous approach in the form of a first-person player point of view which will now be more realistic up and close and gamers can truly feel the horror right in front of them.
The whole new level of terror was emphasized on no less by Capcom itself, setting the stage for more mind-boggling game play with better imagery.
The post further notes how Capcom is able to achieve a shocking degree of visual fidelity thanks to the new proprietary in-house RE Engine that includes VR oriented tools. For those who are not familiar with RE Engine, it was used in the tech demo “KITCHEN” for PlayStation VR last year.
The demo trailer for “Resident Evil VII: Biohazard” should speak a lot on the game which is set to come out in January 24, 2017 per Comic Book, another game that should put the PS VR peripheral to the test.
