The lovable Steven gets to try out his new power in the third season of Cartoon Network's popular hit series "Steven Universe." However, it seems that our hero's own ability to float may bring more harm than good.
Steven Comes Back To Beach City
In the sixth episode of "Steven Universe," the titular character learns that he is able to float, BitBag reported.
However, Steven's new found powers may prove more harmful than good if he doesn't learn how to control it. It remains a mystery how Steven will get into trouble or how he would use his new powers to fight off villains.
After coming back home to Beach City, Steven becomes excited to try out the pastries in the Big Donut, something that he truly missed while he was away.
The "Steven Universe" Wiki website said that he wasn't able to catch the shop open. Even Sadie refused to give in to his pleas.
Sadie then promised to give Steven fresh batch of donuts if he comes back early morning tomorrow. Steven settled for this and can't wait for the next morning to come.
However, Steven gets diverted instead of following his plans of heading out to the bakeshop 7 a.m. sharp. He discovers he has newfound powers and that he can float.

Steven Floats
Christian Today further shared that Steven will try out his flight power, finding it convenient and fun in the next episode of "Steven Universe." His powers were said to have come from his past good deeds.
The Malachite bestowed the floating powers to Steven as a reward for helping Peridot get through Lapiz Lazuli. Steven also helped the latter adjust life to Earth.
The challenge comes from his inability to control his floating powers, letting him float higher than he would have wanted.
While it may seem a problem than a real help, Steven's floating ability will surely come handy during adventures.
LGBT Theme
Vine Report added the third season of "Steven Universe" will also incorporate LGBT themes as apparent in the relationship between Ruby and Sapphire. Creator Rebecca Sugar deems it important to let children know as early as possible.
"You can't wait until kids have grown up to let them know that queer people exist," she told Movie Pilot. "There's this idea that that is something that should only be discussed with adults - that is completely wrong."
