“Transformers 5: The Last Knight” will reportedly be director Michael Bay’s last film so it could be a pretty defining one. Knowing that the fans will be glued on what great car models will be shown, two have been revealed by the director himself.
First up is “Bumble Bee” who will be making his return in “Transformers 5: The Last Knight” in the form of a souped up Camaro ZL1. For those who have seen the stock model, the one appearing on “Transformers 5: The Last Knight” next year will come with a bit of spunk.
That includes sportier front and rear ends together with smaller side mirrors. And of course there is the placement of the “Autobot” logos likely at the front fenders on both sides as mentioned by GT Spirit.
The ‘Barricade’ on the other side will be a 6th Generation Mustang
“Bumble Bee” isn’t the only Mustang appearing on the film. On the side of the Decepticons, “Barricade” has been confirmed as well. The same protagonist who appeared in previous “Transformers” movies will move up a generation in the form of a sixth-generation Mustang police car per Motor Authority.
The generation may be different but “Barricade” is likely to come with the same enhancements he had in previous models. This means that the sixth generation Mustang police car will likely come with the same protective bars with the “punish and enslave” tag inscribed by the rear fenders.
Other features could include blacked-out headlights, a vented hood and maybe some pillar-mounted spotlights.
With two Mustangs in the mix, expect “Transformers 5: The Last Knight” to be filled with car chases aside from the expected battles when the vehicles transform into their characters.
“Transformers 5: The Last Knight” is set to come out June, 2017 with cast that includes the returning Mark Wahlberg as “Cade Yeager”, Josh Duhamel as “Lt. Colonel William Lennox” and Peter Cullen once again voicing over the Autobot leader “Optimus Prime."
