‘Titanfall 2’ Finally Has A Single Player Campaign

“Titanfall” is one of the more popular titles under EA though its debut back in 2014 lacked something – a single player campaign. All that changes with the sequel (“Titanfall 2”) which confirms rumors tied up to the game.

With the help of a trailer, it was shown that “Titanfall 2” will indeed now include a single-player campaign that can be played offline, a development that should draw raves from gamers who were looking for it the last time around.

"Titanfall 2's single-player is crafted to dive deeper into the Titanfall universe, exploring the unique bonds between Pilot and Titan, and taking full advantage of the movement and combat, to deliver a feeling a feeling of being unstoppable together," EA's Devin Bennett said via Game Spot.

With the now official, folks will have to wait a bit for “Titanfall 2” to be available. While the addition of the much wished for single-player campaign has been added, the game’s official release date is still months away – October 28.

The New ‘Titans’

Other things worth noting on the game trailer are the new Titans. IGN notes two Titans, “Scorch” and “Ion”, both heavily armed with awesome firepower and some advanced technology.

“Scorch” best typifies the vaunted fire-power attacks, something that includes a mortar shell that explodes incendiary flames. Aiding the primary attack of “Scorch” are power attacks, a flame shield and a defensive move which calls for a firewall that can be set around it.

“Ion” on the other hand comes armed with a “Splitter Rifle” that can fire up to three shots at once. Aside from that, “Ion” also comes armed with a “Vortex Shield” and a red mega-beam attack that is likened to the same one rendered by “Cyclops” of the “X-men."

Of utmost importance as well is of course the game’s display resolution which should be put to the test with all the high details and action. An original source-based tech will be up to the task as revealed by Studio head Vince Zampella.
