Compared to the “Arkham” series by Rocksteady Studios, the upcoming series will focus more on Bruce Wayne.
"Batman: The Telltale Series" first season will consist of five episodes and each episode can be downloaded as soon as these become available. ScreenRant noted at SXSW 2016 that “Batman: The Telltale Series” will be a fresh interpretation, which means that it will not be connected or inspired by any Batman movie or TV show. Players get to control Bruce Wayne during daytime and Batman at night. There will most likely be more drama and deeper issues involved, instead of the usual action-packed approach.
The recent images featured the black and white logo and title of the upcoming game. One photo showed Batman and Catwoman appearing to hang on the side of a building. Two photos showed Bruce Wayne inside his mansion and looking at monitors in the Batcave, while the fourth presented the Dark Knight in his suit looking at the Batmobile.
In a blog post, Telltale Games wrote that “Batman: The Telltale Series” was visually prepared to appear like a living and breathing comic book. James Gordon, and Laura Bailey (Selina Kyle). More cast and characters will be introduced as the season continues.
