Mortal Kombat veteran Ed Boon took some time at Gamescom to introduce another DC heavy to Injustice: Gods Among Us, Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman. Check the trailer below!
Yeah, I'm not sure why a cat burglar needs a rocket launcher either, but it does seem to work in a pinch against the Man of Steel. True to her comic book fashion, Catwoman prounces about with absolute acrobatic ability, threatening to claw up the backside of anyone who dare come too close.
Catwoman joins Wonder Woman and longtime girlfriend of the Joker, Harley Quinn, as the only female characters of Injustice thus far. The other playable characters include Batman, Cyborg, Nightwing, Flash, Solomon Grundy, and Superman, and more are no doubt on the way.
Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale. However, now with almost half of the total characters Batman related, some are curious when other DC characters will be added.
With the success and popularity of Batman's Arkham games, we've already seen a lot of what Batman characters have to offer. Not to say it's not great, but DC still has a great many characters to draw on, some of whom we haven't seen in this medium yet: Plastic Man, Black Hand, Lobo, Hawkman, Doomsday, Gorilla Grodd, etc.
I hope a lot of them will eventually see the light when Injustice: Gods Among Us hits stores.
