Katy Perry's network took a dip as the "Dark Horse" singer failed to make it to the Forbes list of America's Richest Self-Made Women List. She made it on the Forbes list under The Highest Paid Women over the past year, but for 2016, she was no longer part of Forbes.
Fans need not worry as Katy Perry is still going strong with a net worth of $125 million. Despite being high in number she was not able to make it on the Forbes list.
It was then explained that Katy Perry's network is working its way to the $250 million mark, which is the mark for them to make it to the list. It was then mentioned that her number are "slowly" moving up, thus she was not able to make it for this year's cut.
The list of America's Richest Self Made Women was released earlier this week. Dinane Hendricks of ABC's Supply topped the list with $4.9 billion net-worth. She was then followed by Oprah Winfrey who took the second spot with $3.1 billion.
There was a tie on the third spot as Dora Fisher of Gap and Judy Faulkner, who is the founder and CO of Epic Systems, are both tied with $2.4 billion.
Aside from these billionaires, there were also popstars and authors that made to the list. Taylor Swift who marked the 60th rank, the author Danielle Steel on number 40, Celine Dion on the 37 and Jessica Alba on the 42nd.
As for Katy Perry, well the '"Roar" singer still needs to get her numbers up, wherein she might eventually make in by 2017. Last year, Katy Perry got the third spot for the Highest Paid Celebrity for Forbes.
According to the Business Insider, one of the biggest factor that boosted Katy Perry's popularity was her fans abroad. It was noted on Forbes that 60 percent of her total income were acquired through her overseas tours.
