Reports are claiming that Bethesda Studios are currently prioritizing the completion of "Fallout 4." Thus, could be a reason of the development of "The Elders 6" to be delayed.
Reason behind 'The Elder Scrolls 6' delay
"Fallout 4" just released its latest DLC that is entitled as "Far Harbour." It is considered as one of the biggest expansions for the franchise history, which has impressed gamers so far for its gameplay, realistic graphics and interesting storyline.
As stated in a report by Neurogadget, Bethesda Studios Vice President of PR and Marketing Pete Hines said that "try to publish to quality" and "make sure everything we do is noteworthy." The message clearly states that they take each game's development carefully and give the creative process and creation of each game ample of time.
What to expect in 'The Elder Scrolls 6' game
Bethesda has never been in a rush to release a sequel to their games, let alone "The Elder Scroll" franchise. It takes usually a four year cycle before a new version if the game is released.
Take for example Morrowind, it was released in 2002, then after four years it was followed by Oblivion, and then we got Skyrim, which was released in 2010. Now, there are rumors that we would get our serving of "The Elder Scroll" this month once the Electronic Entertainment Expo takes place.
