The recently launched ASUS ZenBook 3 is reportedly faster, slimmer and way cheaper than any other Apple MacBook in the market.

The new ASUS ZenBook 3 is an affordable device that packs some serious premium features. The cheapest model of the ZenBook 3 starts at $999 and for that, you'll an Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB SSD and 4GB of RAM.
The ASUS ZenBook 3 aesthetics is made out of aerospace-grade aluminium alloy and an 82% screen to bodt ratio. The ASUS Zenbook 3 is only 11.9mm thick and weighs at 910 grams, compared to the MacBook that is 920 grams in weight and 13mm in thickness.
Different variants and availability of ASUS Zenbook 3
The premium line of the ASUS ZenBook 3 with Core i7 processor, 1TB SSD and 16GB of RAM is priced at $1,999, the mid-range offering will feature an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and 512GB SSD for $1,499 and the lower end range will pack a 256G SSD for $999. All features the same aesthetics and same premium feel.
The company hasn't released any availability details yet, but reports are saying that the new ASUS ZenBook 3 will be available in the third quarter of 2016. If rumours are correct that June is the target date of the release, then by that time, Apple would also unveil its latest edition of the MacBook Pro.
