Tom Clancy's 'The Division' 1.2 Update Bugs: New Patch Addresses Missing Characters & Daily Missions

"Tom Clancy's The Division" lastest 1.2 update, players found out, was full of bugs. Fortunately for players, a fix was implemented so "The Division" fans can now enjoy the popular game.

Ubisoft's "The Division" team were quick to respond to the program's issues that were experienced by players when Ubisoft introduced last Tuesday the game's 1.2 update, reports Polygon. Apparently, the new update introduced new bugs into the game while at the same time, the update reintroduced existing ones.

For instance, players have complained of their main characters being missing after installing "The Division" 1.2 update. Other players even reported to have lost multiple characters in the game.

To assist "The Division" players who encountered these problems, Ubisoft Massive requested these affected players to report their Uplay usernames. After investigations, the company concluded that the problem was caused by a malfunctioning server, reports VG 24/7.

Another problem that came up with "The Division" 1.2 update is about the games Daily Missions. A lot of players complained that the game's Daily Missions is not working. Players go through the Daily Missions to earn Phoenix Credits which they could later swap for superior weapons, gears and blueprints.

Fortunately for players, these issues can now be resolved. Ubisoft Massive is introducing a 1.6GB patch to fix the problems encountered in "The Division" 1.2 update. Players only need to restart their game client for the patch to take effect.

However, there are some bad news for Xbox One and PS4 players of "The Division." Players from these platforms will have to be patient a bit longer as it has been reported that the fix for PS4 and Xbox One will be implemented next week.

It was also reported that the instability in the matchmaking of "The Division" is now improved. At the moment, players are no longer having issues in joining Clear Sky, the new raid feature of the game.
