The Acer Liquid Zest Plus is Acer’s newest mid-range device offering for the mobile phone market, gaining attention mostly because of the humongous 5,500 mAh battery it comes with.
Unveiled last month in New York, the Acer Liquid Zest Plus runs on Android that folks can get for a reasonably priced $199. For those who are hearing about the Acer Liquid Zes Plus for the first time, it may be worth noting that this was not the original price it was pegged to carry.
The original SRP for the Acer Liquid Zest Plus was $250 so the added $50 off has yet to be explained. But then again, potential buyers of the said smartphone are unlikely to complain.
Going through its specs, the Acer Liquid Zest Plus comes with a sane set of features. Among the specs include a 5.5-inch HD display, a MediaTek MT6735 chipset backed by a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex A53 CPU, a Mali-T720 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD).
Further specs of the Acer Liquid Zest Plus include a 13 MP main camera, a 5 MP front-facing shooter, DTS HD sound and something that will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Obviously, a lot of attention lies on the 5,000 mAh battery that should make the Acer Liquid Zest Plus a good device to turn to for over a day. Bear in mind that with that capacity, it should not be surprising to see it last for a couple of days even with intense data consumption.
The battery will also come with fast charging technology as most fans have to date, technically hinting that folks who consider the Acer Liquid Zest Plus will never run low on juice.
With a set debut date this July, folks can still catch a glimpse of the Acer Liquid Zest Plus when it appears at the Computex Taipei 2016 slated from May 31 to June 4.
