“Five Nights at Freddy’s” will have a spin-off soon, titled “Sister Location.” A new teaser image was recently presented, revealing that there will be a new female animatronic that will terrorize gamers.
“Five Nights at Freddy’s” is a survival horror game series created by Scott Cawthon. So far, the series consists of four main titles and one spin-off. Cawthon also shared that the games will soon become available on consoles.
BloodyDisgusting said that the “Five Nights at Freddy’s”teaser image showed a female animatronic with a clown-like face holding a microphone in the dark and looking straight at the viewer. The toy had red cheeks, a red nose, red lips, red hair in pigtails and a red dress. The“Five Nights at Freddy’s” toy had bright wide eyes and long eyelashes with an eerie gaze, hinting of the horrors that she will bring in the upcoming spin-off.
On the Scottgames website, the “Five Nights at Freddy’s”teaser image appears with the title, “Sister Location,” was stated on the bottom of the image, together with the caption, “Everyone, please stay in your seats.” The line indicates that the spin-off may be set in an amusement park where the announcer generally reminds visitors to stay in their seats to keep safe.
The first “Five Nights at Freddy’s”teaser image also showed the face of the girl animatronic behind the title with the caption, “There was never just one.” She and Freddy may have been acquainted ever since.
Touch Arcade revealed that some “Five Nights at Freddy’s”fans speculated that the female animatronic may have come from the pigtailed girl in “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4.” One user stated that she may be related to the novel “The Silver Eyes,” where the original creator of the animatronics created creatures in other locations.
Cawthon wrote on the Steam community page forum that he is planning to include more material in the extras about the development process for “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location.” Not a lot of details have been revealed about the spin-off but many believes that it refers to another location that also contains several animatronics like Freddy Fazbear’s crew at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.
The official launch date of “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location” has yet to be announced, although the creator promised that it will not release in haste. The “Five Nights at Freddy’s” creator said that he does not plan on any early release dates and will spend the extra time polishing the game and adding features if he finishes early.
Cawthon is trying to avoid the same mistake of rushing the release date like he did with “Five Nights at Freddy’s World,” which was not well-received by fans and garnered poor reviews.
