Last we checked, Apple's most anticipated gadget, the next-gen iPhone, wouldn't be seen on store shelves until October (due to Qualcomm supply issues, according to a report by Fox Business). But now, according to iMore, Apple plans to announce the next-gen iPhone, as well as the iPad mini at a media event on September 12th. The iPhone is said to go on sale just a little over a week later on September 21st. Allegedly.
As per anything Apple, take any and all rumors with a big grain of salt, as Apple, following tradition, has not yet commented on any release date.
Earlier today, more photos of purported next-generation iPhone parts hit the web, courtesy of Japanese repair shop iLab.
