DC Universe Online Launched Europe-Wide

Starting immediately, the massively multiplayer online game DC Universe Online is also available at www.dc-universe-online.eu. The free-to-play action online role-playing game is the first of several blockbuster games for which ProSiebenSat.1 Games and Sony Online Entertainment have concluded a partnership in order to operate the games in Europe.

DC Universe Online, along with all current expansion packs, is playable on all European servers. So far, since the game started at SOE in January, 2011, four large expansion packs have been released. Following Fight for the Light, Lightning Strikes, and Battle for Earth, The Last Laugh is now available as well. In this fourth expansion pack, the evil and dangerous Joker is trying to make the world go down in chaos. The expansion mainly
focuses on multiplayer gameplay and contains new PvP battle arenas, Legends characters with light powers, the Kryptonians, and The Shield as a new
weapon. Moreover, for the first time up to 16 players get to take part in exciting battles in the heroes' and villains' headquarters.

DC Universe Online combines popular DC Comics environments and characters with breathtaking battles and a gripping story. An epic battle awaits where players hold the fate of the world in their hands. With their own super hero or villain and individual powers, players join the fight against Brainiac
alongside legendary DC comic characters such as Superman, Batman, or the Joker.

Exclusive Europe-wide licenses for several SOE titles

DC Universe Online is the first blockbuster game from Sony Online Entertainment to be provided through the dedicated European service of ProSiebenSat.1 Games at DC-Universe-Online.eu. In the course of the strategic partnership, ProSiebenSat.1 Games will release more games successively.
