Last month, the hotly anticipated DLC Dawnguard was released to the Xbox 360 as a 30 day exclusive. The date of the release? June 26. Today's date? July 27. So, that means the exclusive period is over, and now the rest of us non-Xboxers get to have our shot at Dawnguard, right? Wrong.
"We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I'd tell you," tweeted Pete Hines, Bethesda's vice president of marketing.
What the hell Bethesda?
Hines later followed up on twitter with, "I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded. Not that news is never coming."
Well, we're all waiting guys.
Dawnguard offers about 10 to 20 hours of additional gameplay, two new factions to join, new areas of Oblivion to visit, new weapons, new shouts, new armor, new characters, and new skill trees for werewolves and vampires.
